A Nigerian scammer posing as real estate mogul Steve Witkoff allegedly defrauded two individuals of $250,000 through a TRUMP inauguration donation scheme. Court documents suggest MoonPay CEO Ivan Soto-Wright and CFO Mouna Ammari Siala may have been the victims.

The DOJ complaint references victims "Ivan" and "Mouna" while blockchain analysis links the scammer's wallet to Soto-Wright's known addresses. MoonPay, which recently secured Europe's MiCA license, has partnered with Trump on cryptocurrency initiatives.
